TOW Emma Cries, should have been titled this. You would have thought that David Schwimmer said something to "Soap Opera Digest" about him basically writing his own lines on the show the way the writers attacked the Ross character this week. Broken thumb, punched in the left eye, then a last second punch in the right eye. I wonder if he will have two shiners and the broken thumb next week??

This really isn't a review or anything, but I just wanted to say Gunther Centralperk's face when Ross was getting beat up was classic.

It was nice how they relived some old FRIENDS themes, with once again Chandler being gay is brought up, there is a reference to Ross and Rachel being on a break, and Tulsa is the new Yemen.

Wouldn't it be wild if they moved C&M to Tulsa for a few weeks (like the Vegas episodes).

Just a note, all throughout typing this I was making the "quotation fingers" at random spots.

And is Ross short for Rossel? Ha ha.

I thought it was great. I also like the way Gunther was being more up-front with Ross about Rachel. I think it opens up the possibility for something more from him this season. I welcome the idea of seeing more Gunther. I think the part is down-played so well.

Interesting about the way "the break" (quote fingers) was brought up this time . . . it was as if the focus turned to Rachel's inability to let it go, rather than Ross's tryst. Are they setting the stage for something? Or was it "just written that way." (I couldn't resist the quotes again--sorry.)

It would be a way to get him off for some rehab too, if that is a consideration. Does anyone know? (I'm not trying to start or revive any rumors. I'm just curious.)
