Friends in other countries

I would like to have information of frineds in other countries like Denmark, France, Germany, Greece and Italy. I would like to know name of the channel which broadcasts Friends, name (if translated) and the episode, which was last broadcasted.

I only know that in Denmark, TV2 broadcasts Friends. Guess I'm not that much help. :(

If you want to know about Israel, the last episode was on channel 3 on Wednesday, it was TOW the Routine

In France we can watch Friends on 3 different Chanels : - in a (poorly) dubbed version on the national Channel France 2 - in original version on a cable channel called Canal Jimmy We are just 6-7 episode late from you in the states...

You didn't ask for Sweden, but here goes anyway In Sweden the show is called "V�nner", which is a direct translation of the word "Friends" into Swedish. The show is broadcasted on Kanal 5. (www.kanal5.se) They show new episodes on Wednesdays and show re-runs on every weekday Monday to Friday. The 3rd of November they where first in Europe to show episode 601 The On After Vegas, but they always show many re-runs and they also take a summerbreak in the later part of the season. This year they took the summerbreak after 614 The One That Could've Been part 1. They showed that last episode on the 17th of May. We now have to wait until after the summer for 615 The One That Could've Been part 2. Last year we where in a similar situation. We had to wait for episode 516 until the 1st of September. This summerbreak causes fans here in Sweden to freak out.

OMG I can't imagine them breaking those episodes up! They belong together. Wow and not just a little breaking them apart, they are months apart. That is just. WRONG.

IN Holland we can see season six now oin sundayevenings. It started two weeks ago. Veronica (the one that started with the Big Brother shit) is the channel that broadcasts the show. During the week Daily reruns are at season 5 the best there is i think.

In France, Canal Jimmy (only on cable tv), shows new season 6 eps in subtitled english on Sundays at 8pm (just showed TOW Joey Fridge (619) last night) and repeat them everyday at different times. France 2, a public channel, shows repeats of the previous episodes in the right order (please!) everyday but in Crappy French Dubbed version. They'll start showing season SIX!! (CFD version too) after the olympics (those b*st*rds), which I think is really dumb since the videos will already be out.

In Spain "Canal +" broadcasts FRIENDS. It's dubbed into spanish, and the most recent episode was the season 5 finale. We won't see season 6 maybe until september, but they're repeating episodes over and over, we saw a few days ago "TOW Ross' thing" Annie.-

In Poland the digital Canal+ is showing a dubbed season six I presume (cause I spend most of the time in the UK ;>). The analog terrestial and satelite POLSAT plays the 5th season. U can get it on your analog satellite receiver in dubbed polish. I played it once couple a years ago in a student house and people almost died laughing...Polish is a funny language after all. Germany:

Broadcast by "ProSieben", Saturday at 3:00 pm. (They took over the series from "Sat.1", who broadcast halfway into season 4 afair.

Currently they are showing it from scratch, last ep was "TOW the fake Monica".

I'm only watching because I hate the dubbed german version and I just want to see which lines they fucked up this time...

you are right,the german version is the worst I've ever seen.he jokes simply don't work out!! It 's not funny at all in German.They really have to broadcast it in English with geraman undertitel, as in France

I live in Norway, and a channel called TV2 broadcasts it here. It's called "Venner for livet" which means "Friends for life". However, everybody just calls it "Friends".

There are reruns four days a week, and we saw 518 TOW Rachel Smokes tonight. The new episodes are shown every Tuesday, and tomorrow we'll see 610 TOW The Routine.

In India, the "Star network" broadcasts it. I hear the "Star Plus" and "Star World" both broad cast it - one the earlier Friends and the other later Friends.
