Even though I'm still not "here", but this was too good not to share.
It seems that our beloved Marcel is currently doing time in real life (as "Monkey", that is) as one of two "Rally Monkeys" employed by the Anaheim Angels Major League Baseball Team. Seems that somehow kapuchan monkeys showed up at the stadium two nights in a row and both nights the Angels came from behind to beat the White Sox.
It appears that the stint may be over though. Tonight, the rally good luck charm didn't work. It was the White Sox who rallied to be the Angels in extra innings.
ESPN's John Miller and Joe Morgan got a big kick out of hearing that one of the Kapuchans had a stage name of "Marcel" and a real name of "Monkey". Nobody mentioned "Friends", but I figure the coincidence is too unlikely to avoid the connection.
