More Season 9 speculation (SPOILERS and Spec)

Before I start, I have to ask: what does everybody think of this Wanda person? Are her spoilers very reliable? I don't watch E! all that much, so I'm not terribly familiar with her. Mainly I remember seeing her on one of those pre-Survivor shows that E! used to have, and pretty much everything she said about Survivor turned out to be wrong. But of course, that was Survivor, and CBS is famous for always keeping info about that show top-secret.

Okay, now for the spoilers... * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Hope that's enough space. Alrighty then. What we know, or think we know:

Upcoming episodes include TOW Pediatrician, TOW the Sharks, TOW the Male Nanny, TOW Pheobe's Birthday Dinner, and TOW Chandler's Surprise. Supposedly they're shooting out-of-sequence, so who knows what the proper order is. According to spoilers, at different points in these episodes: Phoebe gets a big new love-interest named Mike, then David the Scientist Guy comes back and complicates the situation; Chandler starts working in Tulsa, he's more or less commuting, and Monica is planning to move there with him later; Mondler are still trying to concieve; R&R hire an attractive male nanny; Ross flirts unsuccessfully with a woman in the pediatrician's office; and Joey starts looking for a new apartment, and he goes with Chandler to look at Richard's (Monica's ex) apartment.

if the show will end "Mary Tyler Moore" or "Cheers" there will be no really happy ending for them all. I DON'T hope so... :-(

I hate these endings, also the end in "Caroline in the city".

If it will be a so-and-so ending, maybe Mondler really move to Tulsa and the friends are finally slitted up. Their New-York-times together are over. That the end in Mary Tyler Moore.

And R&R - I'm a huge fan! - well, the whole Cheers story was since the beginning the story of the couple Diane and Sam - and they DIDN'T end up together!!! They decided not to marry on the airport. So is Friends: The whole story in the beginning was the relationship between Ross and Rachel...

That's my opinion. If Friends ends like MTM or Cheers it would be horrible!!! :-(((

No, I don't agree. Both of those shows had great endings, especially MTM. A little bittersweet, maybe a lot bittersweet, but nothing _too_ awful. You want to see a bad series ending, check out "Moonlighting" or "Northern Exposure", or even "Homicide: Life on the Street." Of course, those were all dramas and "Friends" is a sitcom.

Maybe "Wings" would be a better analogy. Right now, I see "Friends" as having sort of a Wings-y type of series ending. Change is in the air, people are moving away, but nothing too sad or awful.

That's exactly what I think the most likely ending will be. Their time for all 6 of them to be together in NYC will be at an end. Maybe Mondler will move away, or maybe BKC will do the old bait-and-swicth once again, and some of the other characters will end up moving away at the end, instead of Mondler.

I would be perfectly satisfied with an ending like this. It's sad but not _too_ sad, it's true to life (life is full of change), and it doesn't ruin any of the characters. I'm sorry if an ending like this would make you unhappy (even if R&R end up together?), but I think it would work very well. Besides, maybe it won't even happen this way. I'm just guessing.

Right. There are certainly a lot of similarites between R&R and Sam & Diane, but there are a lot of important differences as well. Most importantly, Sam and Diane never had a child together. Just the fact that Emma exists makes R&R much more connected than Sam and Diane ever were. Plus, Diane was _off the show_ for a good 6 years or so before the finale. Her character lived 3,000 miles away from Sam, and her appearance in the final show was as a guest star, not as a regular member of the cast. So I just don't think you can take the R&R/S&D analogy _too_ far. And I really don't believe they will share similar fates.

Well, I'm sorry you feel that way. I really have no idea how it's going to end, I'm just making a WAG based on what little we know so far. Thanks for the reply.

Well to be honest.....I wish the writers would quit the crap they do year after year since R&R broke up. Quit the prolonging ...and just get them together and lets enjoy the last year of Friends with them together while the other story lines develop. I would much rather watch to two of them grow as a couple with child than drag the damn thing out all year long. Oh well, just my opinion. Take Care All JD

The final episode should be one of their great party-at-Monica's episodes, and bring back all the recurring guest stars they've had over the years. Almost every party-at-Monica's episode has been excellent and this would really see the Friends off as we want to remember them.

I think that the Chandler no-show in the sit is silly. And why would anyone wanna see some of the Friends leave in the series finale? As a fan, I want them all in the ending, happy, together and drinking coffee. The bitter-sweet end, Wanda is telling about Monica and Chandler leaving for Tulsa, Oklahoma is plain crap! What's the point of having them stay till the end and having them leave annyway? I have to agree on the Rachel and Ross wedding in the end, because that's actually one of the biggest things to look forward to, and everyone knows it's leading there anyway, so the writers will just drag the R&R thing till the end, why don't they just let the fans enjoy a few episodes with a together Rachel and Ross before the series finale? Also, I don't think the writers would risk Rachel choosing Joey over Ross, that is just total crap, I mean they've dragged the Ross and Rachel thing since they broke up in the early seasons, and now they're gonna bring up Joey out of the blue? Screw it, what's the point of the whole Rachel and Ross concern for each other blah over the past seasons if they're gonna let Rachel hook up with Joey?

Again, Chandler leaving a lot is crap, I do agree that there might be a possibility that there would be no baby Bing birth during the 9th season. I also think that Chandler and Monica would be a frustrated couple regarding pregnancy thing, like they're gonna hope, but nothing would come up fast, but until the season end, where Monica would tell Chandler that she's actually pregnant.

About the other posts, the cast looking older by the day, yes prolly true, but they've all grown old beautifully...they still look good, except for Joey, he has beer belly already, he got fat! And Chandler, fat is okay, he just needs to iron his clothes and put them on correctly, LOL. They're all wrinkly all the time! As for Ross, Monica and Rachel, they all look good, as always, well Monica looked like crap during the early seasons. And Phoebe, she looks better than before too.

Also, why would any fan NOT wanna see the 10th season? I would like that, if the cast and the producers would like to end it in the 9th season, screw them again! If they make it until the 10th season and end it there, I wouldn't talk anymore, a decade of Friends is enough.

Just my thoughts, don't cuss at me!
