O.K., so I follow everyone's advice & just buy my wife everything available right now. She loves it........but then......she finds out that 2 of the best episodes ever are not on any of the DVD's??? WTF????????? (pardon my french)
Even I have to admit that the "Pivot" couch episode on the stairs was flippin' hilarious. I'm really shocked they didn't put that on the "best of" set. )c=

The "Pivot" couch episode on the stairs is 516 "TOW the Cop", and the "Whippaaa" episode is 420 "TOW All the Wedding Dresses". Both have been out on DVD for a few years now. The only episodes not currently on DVD are 809-816 (which will be out soon), and 817-824 (later this year).

The UKers can brag all they want, but their DVD's are missing the extra footage and features that we have gotten, or will be getting (except for maybe their season 8 DVD's???)

All the episodes of Season 8 *and* Season 7 were released with the extra footage. As for the new versions of Seasons 1/2, and the "Best of" sets, we get those as well, just as you do. I'm afraid it's the Americans who seem to find great difficulty in adjusting to the world-wide market.

I can play R1's on mine, but the drive will only let you change regions a very limited number of times, so I don't do it that way. I just connect my DVD player to the WinTV card and play it like that.
