let's say i downloaded friends episodes from kazaa or friends.net whatever. can i burn them onto a cd-r? will it play on my computer? or do they have to go on cd-rw? thanks

Make sure you have a fast cdrom (and plenty of ram) otherwise the video may stutter.

okay, but I tried sending my friends episodes onto my CD-R and the program tells me that only .wav and .mp3 are allowed. i think my friends eppies are saved as movie files... what should i do?

You need to make a data disc, not an audio disc. What program are you using?

its called create cd. now i see what i was doing wrong , i needed to do data not audio.
