Series 7

Has anyone heard any confirmation this is going ahead? I think you guy in the US only have 4 episodes left so not much time to get an ending sorted out if this is the case.

I am of the opinion, that a decision must have been made by now one way or the other. Since there are only 4 episodes left, its clear that these would have to be well on the way to being written by now, since they're either being filmed, or about to begin filming. They wouldn't be able to write the last 4 episodes without knowing whether they were bringing it to an end or just to a cliffhanger. If the writers don't know yet, then its bad planning, because last minute rewrites are never as good, something you can see from how much better the filming spoilers for the episodes around xmas/new year were before they decided to open the hatch and get rid of Janine, warranting big reshuffles and something of a lack of flow (not to mention overall story content).

Tomorrow *is* the filming of part one of the hour-long finale. They've just added a clip show which they didn't need to take an extra filming for.

I assume so, because it shouldn't be very many scenes. I've been to filmings where they've had to film a couple scenes from a different episode, so I'm sure they could have worked it in.
