While watching the season finale tonight. (interesting ending by the way), I couldn't help notice how I wanted to see more of Monica and Chandler and their quest for having a baby.
I hope to see more of this during the 9th season.
Was I the only one interested in this couple after the 7th friend came into our world?

My own season 9 prediction: Monica or Chandler can't conceive, so angst and comedy ensue.

I'm willing to bet on it. Phoebe got pregnant without any real troubles, and in the course of one episode. Emma wasn't planned, and so I'm guessing that the first half of the season will be taken up with a "why can't we get pregnant?" subplot, with the rebudding romance bewteen Ross & Rachel as the other one. I don't think that M&C will get pregnant, or at least to the point where they'll deliver, since the show just went THROUGH all that.

I can see Chandler being very excited about "having all the sex" until he realizes later about what that really means for him. I'm not entirely sure he's up to the challenge. AND of course, it will be all *his* fault whenever Monica brings it up in the group.

I'm sure we will. But, I know I'll be sick if all we see are them finding new and inventive ways of trying to make a baby. Perhaps...
Monica will find out she can't have kids (or maybe Chandler's lil swimmers aren't swimming as well as they should). I think something should come up that would provide an obstacle, because it would be too predictable (IMO) for them to just have the sex and then BAM, instant baby. The irony would be: Rachel didn't plan, had a baby. Monica and Chandler DO plan, but no baby (perhaps explore an adoption storyline).
