....that maybe there should be an episode where Rachel tells her parents she is pregnant before she starts showing? It would be nice to see her parents again since we haven't seen them since Season 2 and 3.

You know, Marlo Thomas and Ron Liebman are great, but if the characters they played were *my* parents I'm not sure I'd find it fun to tell them I was single and pregnant. Of course, also one problem is that they've already done their reactions to her lifestyle, so it would more or less inevitably work out that 1) MT was thrilled at this further evidence of Rachel's breaking the mold and 2) Liebman was furious and went out to hunt the guy down. On the other hand, the episode where Jill (Reese Witherspoon) pretended to try to negotiate peace between Rachel and their parents while all the time deliberately setting them more and more against each other might be fun. Though that would mean three guest stars and is probably over budget.
