Maybe you've discussed this to death, but it's something I can't understand. In TOW the list, Monica says she's allergical to cat hair. OK, we believe her... In TOW the cat, Monica touches that cat supposed to be Phoebe's mom and nothing happens to her. We start to doubt... In TOW the ball, Monica can't be near Rachel's cat, and it didn't even have hair. Am I crazy?

Not that this would explain the 2nd one, but alot of people are allergic to their dander (i.e. dead skin) as well, which they would have regardless if they have hair.
Well, I'm allergic to cat hair, but that doesn't mean I can't be around them at all. She wasn't with 'Phoebe's mom' that long. Rachel's cat stayed in the apartment, so dander would be everywhere, and she'd be around it all the time. A.
