Many of us are wondering whether or not the decision to continue the show has been made already. If it has and the answer is that the show is done, wouldn't they want to hype up the "LAST THREE EPISODES OF FRIENDS," as with Seinfeld and other such popular shows? This leads me to believe (hope) that the decision is still pending, otherwise NBC would be going crazy with Friends hype.

It was a lot more than 3/4 weeks ago - it was at least a couple of months ago, in fact I think it was actually around Christmas. And whether C4 bought it up means absolutely diddly-squat in the equation of whether or not they're actually going to continue.

Yes, in the event that seasons 7, 8 and 9 are actually made.
Just on this note, I wonder whether C4 get any kinds of refunds if they don't get their full money's worth?
Doubtful. I think it's a well calculated risk. If it happens, they make bucks. If not, oh well...
