Has anybody ordered the DVDs? All of the websites I've seen lists the seasons as eps 1-23. Aren't some seasons longer than that? Thanks.

All seasons so far are 24 episodes long, except for Season 3 which had 25. Two-part or "hour-long" episodes should properly be counted as two numbers, precisely to avoid the confusion which has troubled you.
However, where the season ended with a two-part episode, (4 & 5), laziness in the numbering sometimes prevails, since there is no following episode to cause further difficulty.
By sticking to this convention we can avoid the discrepancies in numbering which plague other sitcoms, "Seinfeld" being a case in point.

The two last episodes 23-24 are one long episode on the DVD's that's why it only has 23 episodes.

Here in Holland we have Friends, complete series 4 and 5 on DVD Region 2. Now I was wondering if they sell them in the US too cous I need them in Region 1 for a friend of mine. In Holland a complete tv seizon like series 5 costs $80,= . How much is it over there ?
