Best Sitcom Ever?

Would you say Friends is the best sitcom ever?.

I would definetly say its the best U.S. Sitcom ever!

When you start talking best "all-time", you have to rank The Honeymooners, along with I Love Lucy and the Mary Tyler Moore Show ahead of F*R*I*E*N*D*S. Seinfeld, Cheers, All In The Family, Happy Days and MASH would be up there, too.

There are many shows I would put ahead of Friends as best ever. I like Friends and even have the DVD sets, but best ever....not even close. What about The Cosby show, Roseanne, Seinfeld. The problem I feel with Friends is, they should have ended the show a year or two ago. Even though the new shows are new you somehow get the feeling I have seen this one before. Once the hype is over Friends will find its place in the best of list, but not number one. Greg

While I agree that Friends may not be the best sitcom of all time. I DO NOT agree that Roseanne should be placed above Friends. It had its funny moments, BUT not a favorite of mine, ever. ALthough, Cosby Show may be placed above it. That was a great show!
