Prediction for the emmys

Does anyone know who they they will be nominated and maybe win?

Does anybody else have a problem with Lisa always getting the Emmy nominations when everyone else in the cast is left out in the cold? I mean, she's a good actress but I think everyone on that show does an incredible job with the acting they do. Just because Lisa's character is the labeled "weird" one, I think she gets all the credit on that show, overlooking everyone else's contributions.

Yup, I agree. Kudrow's a good actress, but as far as the show itself goes, she's not *that* much better than the rest of them that she deserves to get nominated almost every year. They should have all had at least one or two nominations by now (except maybe Courteney Arquette).

Schwimmer deserved his nomination in the first season, and should have gotten one for the third. Aniston should have too. Perry and LeBlanc should have been nominated for season five, and Perry possibly for season two as well. That's just my opinion though.

I've always figured it's because she doesn't get much material, and therefore, she gets less bad material. Almost everything her character does is so unimportant that they can cut out the bad stuff. The others have serious stories that can't have some (bad) scenes cut because they are integral to the plot.

I simply think that "Friends" will get nominated and lose to "Frasier." Maybe that's what the writers need to see--they were the favorite for the Emmy last year and they lost (ahem, were ROBBED). Now they're not nearly the favorite, plus MP and CA aren't nominated. Maybe it'll prove that Mondler has not improved the show this season and other, more interesting storylines can be born.

And Kudrow will be nominated, but she won't win.

I'm confused here, are you guessing that Courtney won't get nominated, or saying that she wasn't? I don't see why Jennifer or Lisa would be nominated this year, especially since Phoebe appeared to be more nasty than funny. Oh well. Matthew probably would have gotten an nomination if it wasn't for that stupid mix-up. Although I think Matt Le Blanc deserves a nomination anyway, he was great this season.

She won't get one. Lisa will get one, but she won't win (I don't think). Jennifer deserves one just for doing so good in the past (the writing isn't as good as it used to be, so...). I don't think the show will win for best show until it's over; the "favorite is gone" vote.

I thought Jennifer was excellent in season 2, with her whole jealousy thing. She played it very well!

I think the academy has a realy dislike for the cast and the show. They love shows like Frasier and Larry Sanders and always give the same people the awards. Phil Hartman was brillant on Newsradio, but was never nominated until he died. They love Lisa Kudrow, but the rest of the cast really doesn't stand a chance in their minds. I think its a real shame that awards can't be branched out. Even if the friends cast is nominated, Will and Grace is going to sweep every category.

I know everyone thinks I am wrong here. But Frasier this season has not been great at all. Friends this season also wasn't that good but better than Frasier. I think Friends will be favourite. There have been good episodes though this season eg. TOW routine, TOW proposal, TOW could have been. So I do think they will be favourites. Lisa Kudrow should get nominated and win since she has done a really good job on TOW could have been and TOW the ring. I dont see Courteney getting a emmy but should get a nomination. She was really good in the one with the proposal. Matthew Perry no chance, but would have been nominated for sure in leading or supporting but would have lost in leading and won in supporting. For the rest of the actors not chance. But for a guest appearance BRUCE WILLIS and REESE WITHERSPOON. Were fantastic they are there with a very big chance.

No. It was very ordinary stuff. No chance at all of winning anything. A nomination would come by habit, perhaps.
