I'm happy that we now all know where it will end - Ross and Rachel together. Sure, they threw in that embarassing misunderstanding which will take a few episodes of season nine to be tied up, but we know, that Ross is on his way back to Rachel, gently put on it by Phoebe, just as I predicted a few days before this finale aired. Rachel on the other hand wants someone to raise Emma with, first choice: Ross. Only because he wasn't as enthusiastic or sure about it as she was -- I appreciate that he doesn't want to use their kid as the reason to get back together, but instead he uses this as an excuse to keep open all possibilities for himself --, even after the apartment leaving kiss, which ATF found only medium love-like, which disappointed the post-natal hormone filled and Janice-catalysed her, she could do such a dumb thing like believing that Joey was proposing to her (once again). Let him speak first, bitch! Joey wouldn't want to marry her, he knows for sure that she doesn't love him. So, how will they continue after that "Okay." which got so many people upset in here and elsewhere (that's what cliffhangers are for, people)?
1. Rachel realize[s|d] that it was Ross' ring and she meant to wed Ros, not Joey, i.e. we were mislead [at least I was]. 2. Joey clarifies the situation before Ross enters. 3. Ross enters to see R&J kissing and they marry. [very highly unlikely] 4. They play hide'n'find for a few episodes. 5. something different.
I still believe we'll see the final reunion in the 200th episode. I don't think it was a very good idea to rush R&R together so soon after the birth, though. At least it happens, and it's hopefully the final time.
