does the fact that google's taken over deja (and made it useless) account for lack of postings today? have you seen what google did? it's completely useless!

Yeah, stupid, useless search engine. And how annoying are their smug "search took 0.4 seconds" crap! Hmpf! What good is a news service if you can't post from it? Mm, I wonder how many results would show up or how long it will take them to dig up all the newsgroups postings "containing the *exact phrase*" : Google sucks! (Can you guys tell I'm mad? <g>) You should email them about it ([email]). I did. And I can tell you now it wasn't all praise. (Heehee, actually I couldn't resist to send you a copy <g>)

I was sooo pissed myself, but I'm of the mindset that we can't control the dot.coms who are taking over the previous dot.coms.

I went to their suggested usenet sites, and found most of them cost money...
