As an avid player of video game role playing games (RPGs), I've come across a few that features the characters, not the actors, from "Friends".
Here are my examples:
Character: Rachel (Final Fantasy VI (Super Famicom/Playstation), Japan, Final Fantasy III (Super Nintendo), North America) Role: Locke's girlfriend in flashback in Locke's hometown of Kohlingen. Story: As Locke's party enters Rachel's house, Locke starts a flashback which recalls the day he almost lost Rachel. Later in the game, Locke returns to Kohlingen with the Phoenix Esper and places it over Rachel's still body. She awakens and tells Locke to get on with his life.
Character: Monica (Romancing SaGa 3, Japan (Super Famicom only)) Role: One of the starting characters in Romancing SaGa 3. Story: Unless you choose her at the start of the game, you won't get access to her unless you defeat one abyss gate guardian. (Note: Romancing SaGa 3 is available ONLY in Japan. You can go to www.ebay.com to find this game. BTW, you must have a Super Famicom/Super Nintendo convertor in order to play this import.)
Character: Phoebe (Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, North America (Super Nintendo), Final Fantasy USA, Japan (Super Famicom)) Role: One of the Hero's sidekicks. Story: Phoebe wants the Hero to help her restore her hometown to it's old self (It's covered in Ice). After their adventure in the Ice Pyramid, she leaves you. Later in the game, Phoebe returns to aid you in the quest to defeat the Dark King. (Note: You CAN name your hero Joey, Chandler, or Ross to get a Friends feel to the game. It's just a suggesstion.)
Character: Chandler (Genso Suikoden, Japan, (Playstation), Suiokoden, North America, (Playstation)) Role: Shopkeeper, one of the 108 Stars of Destiny (he's listed as Star of Destiny #108.) Story: (Insert name here) McDohl returns to Kwaba and recruits Chandler to his Liberation Army. From this point on, anything you buy from any item or armor shop in the world, you will buy at Chapman (armor store) and Chandler's (item store).
That about sums it up. Sorry, if there wasn't any RPGs with a Joey or Ross in it, but there might be one in the coming months.
