Is it just wishful thinking to believe that folks come to ATF to discuss "Friends," episodes, cast and crew?
That has been my desire because I'm a huge fan of this show and one if its main stars.
It doesn't matter to me if one member babysits for a living and another is a CEO of a Fortune 500. What matters is that we're equally fans.
Therefore, I find it disturbing when people go O/T and question who other members are, what they do for a living, how much money they make, etc.
It's simply none of our business (unless one claims to be a crew member of the show, then we WANT to know, but that's beside the point :-).
I just lost one posting friend on another newsgroup due to a posting crisis similar to that which we're witnessing with Tennant. The perpetrator even went so far as to figure out how to delete this guy's posts. Thus, my posting friend left the group and went and started another chat (via Delphi, I believe). It's cumbersome to deal with two chats on the same topic.
Let's not let that happen here. It should be a safe place for friend and foe alike. Let's ignore the questionable folks and concentrate on the business at hand - THE NEW SEASON BEGINS TOMORROW! We've gotta get ready...
