Chandler and Ross

During the last half of this season, I have noticed a very significant change in both Chandler and Ross' behaviors.

What I mean is that Chandler has become a bit of a "Ross" if you will. Acting more mature, responsible, capable of holding on to a relationship. And Ross is well "Chandler", who has immatured, especially after he started dating Elizabeth (Ugh!!), and is acting like a complete dork. I know, he's always been a dork, but this time, it's more annoying that usual.

When I watched last night's episode, where Ross and Joey are complaining about Chandler's attitude towards them, it really donned on me, especially when Joey told Ross that they were the new Joey and Chandler, that Ross has become the new Chandler and Joey loves it. I think we'll see those two develop a friendship the way Chandler and Joey have. (eg. watching Jasmine Bleech on Baywatch. :)).

For 616?-623 I think..

So basically, we have David playing Chandler instead of Ross, and he doesn't do it as well. He did play Ross well. And we have Matthew, who handles Ross OK, but he's not as interesting in this role as he was in the old one, and David was marginally better.

But Joey and Chandler was more effective than Joey and Ross. Not a good way to use their ensemble. And all the reasons we have been given why they broke R&R up and made Ross into a boob are looking like a complete crock, because they've just replaced old, good paradigms with insufficent copies.

Without having any of your enthusiasm for Chandler and Monica, I'd say that "I take thee, Richard" would be a very stupid plot twist for Monica. I didn't think it was just a brilliant stroke the first time they pulled it on us.

wouldn;t that be kinda pathetic approaching their mid thirties.. I know a lot of people remain single at that age.. but also a lot of people settle down... Ross and Joey (especially the later) will be deemed as old news and pathetic if their characters do not mature a little.. this does not mean the comedy needs to go.. a well-banced mixture would be best many didn;t like Chandler maturing.. but I thought it was good.. he still is quite funny in my opinion.. but not the hilarious loose a lot of us loved Joey really has become hilarious.. I hope he gets some better storylines..
