What's with all the damn repeats?!?
Didn't Friends just do a ton of repeats during the olympics? And then we get a new episode and then MORE repeats???
Anyone remember the days (like Three's Company) where you would get new episodes from the end of Sept till about mid May? Maybe one or 2 repeats due to holidays or special events.
Sorry to rant, but it's just sooooooo annoying!

And I thought Germany was organized... but we don't have this strict September - May plan, which all US networks seem to obey. New seasons are started all throughout the year over here. Sure there're a few less starting during summer and US shows are mostly started in autumn, but that's only because of dubbing and licensing issues. What I'm very glad for is, that no German channel would have the guts to show a rerun episode interrupting the premier airing of a season, i.e. every week (or day) a new episode always at the same time slot and after the season ends reruns or a different show taking up that slot until the start of the next season. Unfortunately German TV stations have a history of screwing up the correct order of episodes.

Well, I have actually been listening to these types of complaints from my family for forever. My mom says that she won't watch any more because of all of the repeats (although she has been saying this for 3 years now). And I was really angry about it too, but I have soon realized that they have always had the same number of episodes every season since season 1 (give or take). There have always been 23-25 episodes of Friend a season. It isn't like they are cheating us. Why are we just noticing this now?

There are repeats on now because of the NCAA tournaments.
They also want to be sure to have all new episodes during the May sweeps, but judging by the number of episodes left this season, and the number of weeks through May, April and May should be filled with many new episodes.
