Besides the obvious question that is in everyone minds after watching the wedding finale, did anybody else notice something wrong.....something missing...like

Of all people they would have definitely been there.
Monica's only nephew not present at her wedding?? What were the writers thinking???

That's true but he wasn't SEEN at Ross and Emily's wedding either - although the writers did say that he was there but not essential to be seen on screen - why not? Surely his son would have been a page boy? They only seem to show him/Carol/Susan when they feel like it and not when the story needs it. Bad writing or casting or whatever you may call it. As I haven't seen the wedding yet (but read the transcript and seen screencaps) - were Rachel's parents there?

I definitely noticed that, too, and I'm actually angry about it. For some reason, a cousin showed up we'd never heard of, but an ex-sister-in-law and only nephew didn't???

I'm guessing it had something to do with the fact that the actress playing Carol was pregnant (and huge from it) and that couldn't be hidden. So instead of have Ben there without Carol, they just decided to skip on all of those people, with the hopes that Chandler's parents and the "mystery ept" would be enough to keep our minds off of it. And to tell the truth, I didn't even think of it til this post mentioned it.
Or...maybe she wasn't vital to the story, so she, Ben, and Susan weren't asked to come. That'd be like having them bring back Beverly Garland as their aunt Sylvia, Judy's sister from "TOW Nana Dies Twice," and any other family member/friend along the way. Plus, it would cost much more money to bring in Jane Sibbet and Jessica Hecht than it would to bring in some shmoe to sit there and look happy.
