Friends star David Schwimmer is desperate for the hit comedy to conclude with his and Jennifer Aniston's characters back together again as a couple.

The popular sitcom will end its run next year after 10 years on the air and Schwimmer admits he'd love to see Ross and Rachel reunited after their long stint apart.

He says, "I don't think even the writers know how it will end yet. But the thing that would make the most sense to give Friends closure would be for Rachel and Ross to somehow end up back together. But only if it's earned."

Ugh! I don't know i fI can handle more Ross and Rachel drama. lol. IMO the writers need to end that storyline (which has been going on for years now) and build on a storyline with Phoebe or some other characters.

i think the writers have realized this. That's why Phoebe has had bigger storylines and a serious romance this season.
