Something I'd like to see at the end of the season

I think it would be great if they had Joey draw on his unrequited love for Rachel to perform in a movie or play where the situation was similar, and have him do it so incredibly well that he's recognized as a great actor for it. Maybe get him a Tony or an Oscar, even, but only his friends would know that it's simply because he's so traumatized that she didn't love him back.

Anyway, I'd like to see that, and letting Joey have *some* success in his career would be nice. He's the only one of the six who hasn't had that, as well as not having had true love.

Well, she has a good job that consistantly keeps her head above water, and I've always felt that that's what's important to her. She's not a character who is interested in having a really successful job - her interests lay elsewhere. I guess I should have said that he's the only one with a career he's pursuing but not succeeding in. Phoebe is a masseuse and she makes a good living at it, I get. She has her own apartment, so she's not a pauper. But Joey literally lives from small roll to small roll it seems. The movie was the biggest thing he's done, but there was no follow-up to see if it went anywhere. We saw the premier, and since it wasn't talked about, I got the feeling it was one of those movies that died a quick death.

Unless I missed something about the WWII movie, of course. ;-)
