No spoiler, because it's only a thought.
Obviously, Friends will need more than a half hour to finish the series, but I think they'll give us 1 1/2 hours, maybe 2, with the first half hour being a recap of the 8 years on the show.
The plot of the finale will be Monica and Chandler's new arrival. Monica will be in the hospital delivering her baby, and it will take a half hour to accomplish it. (After all, most labors last well into 10 hours before the baby's born. Trust me). After the little Bing is born, everyone will be in Monica's hospital room staring at the beautiful baby and then they'll get emotional, and then they'll get into some sort of "We'll always be there for each other kind of talk", and then all of the sudden the scene fades into to the future. About 10 years from now. Monica and Chandler are still Married, with their 3 children. Yes 3 (why not). Rachel and Ross somewhere along the way got back together and got married and have a couple of kids. And R&R and C&M are getting ready for Pheobe and Joey's wedding. Since they turned 40 and they weren't promised to anyone, they decided to marry their backups. Of course, this will stretch to an extra hour.
The reasoning behind this thought is because I want to see complete closure after the show's over, so we, the audience can be happy that something's happened to these guys, and won't leave us hanging. I hated shows like that where you wish you can see more of where our favorite characters went beyond the last show. If the writer's can produce a show like that, I think the fans would really appreciate it. What do you guys think?
