Ladies and gentlemen, we introduce a new concept for the newsgroup alt.tv.friends, the atf quotefile. The quotefile is a revolutionary invention already enjoying great success in other newsgroups, message boards and mailing lists.
The idea is simple but effective, it's a big file containing the best lines, quips and quotes from the posts of this newsgroup to be ever immortalised as the creme de la creme. It's really easy, every time you see a really good line in a post all you do is copy that line from the post into an email to the quotefile master including who originally said it and if it's not clear a few words explaining what they're talking about.
