Just another bit of trivia

According to the latest National Enquirer, David's bought two of the new camera phones, and has a exclusive connection to Courteneys one, so no-one can intercept their transmissions. Maybe not yet but sooner or later camera phone transmissions will be cracked.

Isn't there a better source for news in the UK besides the National Enquirer? Plus, what does it matter if David has a direct phone connection to Courteney? They are married, you know.... In addition, do you WANT to "crack" their private telephone conversations?

FYI, all cell phone customers have exclusive connections -- they are called telephone numbers. My husband dials my cell phone number and guess what?! I answer! Amazing, isn't it? ~~~ Kathy

The NE still isn't the most reliable source to obtain info on ANYTHING, much less what's going on in "La La Land."

You implied that because David has a direct "link" to Courteney's phone is a bad thing.

I doubt someone will ever 'crack' the mobile transmissions as they are pretty much scrambled through the different sending towers for the various wireless companies.

You're talking about a land line as opposed to a cell phone. Land lines have more problems with that sort of thing than cell phones do. My land line at home will do that sometimes, too, but I've never opened my cell phone and heard other people talking. ~~~ Kathy

Well us europeans know you Americans are 5 years technologically behind europe, so I can assure you you can intercept mobile phone transmissions, and you can buy the device in the shops to do it. Princess Diana's mobile phone transmissions were intercepted, you just need to tune into the right frequency.

Why don't you access CNN or another reliable news source via the internet before you waste your time and money on a worthless copy of the NE?

This isn't something that's exclusive to Courteney and David. They're only 2 of millions that have these type of cell phones, myself included. My husband and I aren't celebrities, but we don't want our "transmissions intercepted", either, so I suppose in your opinion, we are vain.

We're five years technolocigally BEHIND Europe?? WTF are you talking about??? Your (Europe, et al) wireless phone service is clearly far inferior to any other country in the world, except some of the third world countries. Why would you WANT to intercept someone's private phone conversation, anyway?

Actually, I have a police scanner and can listen in on cell phone conversations as well as some port. home phone conversations as well. Now I know nothing about electronics, but I suppose someone who did could indeed tap into whom ever they wished. I only heard stuff like "pick up some bread on your way home" and "I have a meeting tonight". but I am involved in local politics and the highest office insists, when they call on my cell phone about certain things, that I go home and call them back on a land line. Now we have 2 way and I've never heard that on the scanner. terri
