International distributor of Friends?

We just found out that next season of Friends will not be shown in Latin America by Sony Entertainment Television, where it has been since the channel existed. They say that they couldn't reach an agreement with the distributor and thus they couldn't buy the rights. Now Friends (which was the biggest show on this channel) might be seen on another channel, or not be seen at all. In the meantime, SET will run all the episodes of Friends in cronological order, with four episodes a week (with a rerun of each episode the next day and during the weekend).

Does anyone know which is the international distributor of Friends and how to contact it?

Well, it is the same company that owns Friends in US, (probably WB), so any foreign channel that wants to show friends have to contact them to buy the rights and the syndication rights. probably your channel thought Friends had gotten too expensive and that it wouldn't be profitable to show Friends anymore. It's like Greece a few years ago, tehys topped showing Friends, but started again last year. and Germany never showed Seinfield cause it was too expensive for the small audience Seinfeld had in Gerany. But here in Sweden when one channel stops airing a show, it gets moved to another channel who buys the rights. So now we can see The Nanny being shown in 3 different channeles at the same time. One show the last two season, an dteh rest shows oldest season. Simpsons is also shown in two channels.
