The last time I saw the duck mentioned was in episode 702 - Rachel's Book. Did it die?

What happened to the chicken / rooster?

This needs to be in the FAQ. The animals became to be too much of a hassle, so they're no longer on the show (kinda like Shannon Doherty). The writers thought of having Joey see whether they could fly or not, but didn't want to see Joey's heart get broken like that. So basically, they're there but they're just not shown (like Murphy Brown's baby).

Maybe the guy who bought the Porsche took the Mr. Bowmont too.

We don't often see any of the friends in a car, so they can get by not showing the Porsche easily. Though it is strange that they haven't had one episode where there was even a reference to it, while we did at least get to see Joey sail in the boat with Rachel.

As for the boat--you don't really expect people who own boats (for recreational purposes, like Joey) to go sailing on theirs any day of the week, do you?

Whereas the duck and the chick, both of which should be in Joey's apartment most of the time, is hardly ever seen, even though at least 1/3 of the show takes place there.

Yes they have, 722 "TOW Chandler's Dad", when Rachel & Ross drove it.

And that car was also referred to in 216 "TOW Joey Moves Out", 415 "TOW All the Rugby", and 508 "TOW the Thanksgiving Flashbacks".

IIRC it's also talked about in TOI Massepequa. Monica says "I've got the car keys," and then Alec Baldwin (Parker) says "We're driving? Aces!"

Just because they have a Porsche doesnt mean that they have to say "the Porsche" when they mention their car. Everyone already knows that M&C's car is a Porsche. I think it would be a little showoffish (for the lack of a better word) if they referred to it as the Porsche every time they talked about it.

Are you telling me that Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Parker all rode in the Porsche to Massapequa? Wow. That's a long way in such a small car. The back seat in those babies is pretty tiny. It's no wonder Ross and Rachel wanted to go separately. (Not to mention avoided at cramped ride with Parker.)
