do you think Friends can get away with doing an episode live?
I know it's been done in the past with er and Drew Carey. But if I were to pick an episode in May for sweeps, I would try to get the group to film live. Or would it be hard because it's done in front of a live audience?

HTat would be incredibly difficult to do cause of set changes and the like, but if they had it on one set like they did in TOW no-ones ready, that would be so cool!

A live show would be funny, but I don't think it would work. I think people would think they were copying Drew and needed to do it as a ratings stunt. Plus I hear that when they mess up a line, sometimes a "bad" word comes out, lol I don't think NBC wants to risk that.

Most (if not all) of the cast have done stage work, and knowing the show was going out live would help them watch their tongues, as well as giving an energy to their performances. In any case, if they mess up a line then there's no opportunity to swear, since they must keep going. :)
