quick question

Please without any spoilers could someone just answer my quick questions I would be very grateful.

1.) How many episodes are there this season? 2.) Is the finale a 2-ep special?

Who made this rule though. Why has it become pre-supposed. Theres been more normal size finales than double-length ones. Every time a x2 finale airs people talk about them trying to fill twice the time with 22 minutes of material. I must admit i've never felt this way about it, but its still milking. The network learned how to milk Friends like a cow after 2 or 3 seasons, and then set up automatic milking machines. Poor analogy? Not really, its quite good :)

It's not a rule. It just so happens that this year's season finale for Friends *is* an hour long.

Hold up. I wasn't counting 6, cos it hasn't aired yet :) Secondly, are you telling me that season 2's last episode doesn't count as a finale cos it didn't cliffhang? I don't buy into that :)

That's your privilege Tom, but the distinction is that if there had been a 25th episode to Season 2, it would have fitted right there on the end. A finale is a proper conclusion to a season, not a mere cessation.

As someone pointed out, theres "Will C+J start a relationship"... "Will Monica and Richard really Split Up" and the less convincing "Are Joey and Ross Gay" cliffhangers.

In all seriousness, you're probably right (you usually are aren't ya). Was season 3 certain before season 2 began eg 2 year contract? Is that probably the reasoning?
