After rewinding my tape of the season finale over and over again, this is what I can conclude about the pregnancy possibilities:

A) Who's pregnant?
1. Rachel: After watching Rachel's behavior throughout
the episode, she (sadly to say) is the one who is
pregnant. Her reaction when Phoebe saw the test
and definately when we see her at the end of the
show proves it.
2. Phoebe: Notice how Phoebe's dress at the wedding
was loose. Maybe she has a secret pregnancy of
some sort, but I seriously doubt it. But would Phoebe
really be that "clutzy"?
3. Monica: Well, we already received her confirmation of
not being pregnant. But there's always a possibility. . .B) Who's the father of (we believe) Rachel's baby?
1. Ross: Ross and Rachel fans rejoice! But don't be so
sure. Ross and Rachel haven't been a (so-called)
"couple" in a long time. But from past episodes,
sooner or later they would get back together again.
If the writers make it his baby, then maybe they will
create some sort of stoyline to explain that they had
a "behind closed doors" relationship somehow.
2. Joey: Right now Joey has a high chance of being the
baby's father. Two things point this out: (1) Rachel
lives in Joey's apartment so who knows what might
have been going on in there. (2) Rachel made a joke
about sleeping with Joey, but who says it was really a
joke. . . .?
3. Chandler: How could the writers stoop down so low?
If Chandler is the father than Friends would really turn
into a soap opera. But it could be a possibility though.
Remember how Rachel and Phoebe didn't want
Chandler to find out about Monica's baby? Maybe Rachel
didn't want him to know about the baby because (1)
he and Monica were -very- "safe" (2) if they were "safe"
then maybe he wasn't "safe" with Rachel -if- they ever
had some sort of fling which everyone seriously doubts.
Also, Rachel would never do anything like that to Monica
but we can't read the writer's minds.
4. Tag: How could this jerk be the baby's father? Even though
they broke up 3 months ago another off-screen reunion
could have happened. Oh well.Those are just my thoughts on what could have happened. Hopefully the writers would come up with a good way to explain the pregnancy next season.
