      The divorce part was a new twist, I'll give you that.  Personally, I
think that if the writers decide to reunite Ross and Rachel, they are going
to reveal that through some technicality, the divorce was never finalized,
and Ross and Rachel already have been married for the past two years.
      This would also eliminate the sticky situation of having a major
character on a popular sitcom give birth out of wedlock.  It's not as taboo
as it used to be, but it's still a touchy topic for network TV.
      I hope I'm wrong, because I like Joey and Rachel as a couple.
