NBC announces 9th Season!!!

I read this on another mb.

NBC just had a commercial on during the Olympics (Feb 11, 2002 approx 10:18 EST) saying that they were pleased to announce that the very great show Friends is coming back for another season!

I know the feeling. I don't like posting the same message in different threads. But when I posted this message, there was no other message on ATF about Season 9. But since I post through google, it showed up after 3 or 4 hours. By then, there were about 10 of these posts.

Anyway, its made me download a few newsreaders to experiment with.

ANOTHER and final season...

Just read in the Boston Globe that the contracts were signed Monday, $1m per Friend/per ep, and that production will spend the next year wrapping up storylines.

This is great News, Here in England, I was reading my daily National Newspaper, and there was a small news story about it today, I am delighted they have signed up for one more series. However, Its not all good news, Its also been semi confirmed that Series 9 willl absolutly and definatly be the VERY LAST series EVER. But then again, It had to finish sometime I guess. At least, I can look forward to one Final Last Series though, I was still certain it was finishing after Series 8
