I have seen a lot of people mentioning seeing a lot of our "Friends" on other shows. I don't know if it was mentioned, but I saw Carol on Cheers. She was in the episode where Frasier and Lilith were redecorating and Norm redecorated their room. A couple of friends of Frasier's wanted to hire Norm too. The girl was Carol. I am sorry if this was already mentioned, but I wanted to mention it if it wasn't.

After reading this, it occurs to me why it must be so difficult to break into acting. First, a lot of people want to do it. Second, there are a lot of good actors already doing it. Third, apparently many, many small parts are performed by the same set of actors without disrupting the flow of the shows they appear on.

Yes, and as for the third point--I bumped into another example on IMDb. The actress who plays Eliot's mother on _Just Shoot Me_ also made one-episode appearances on _Friends_ and _Seinfeld_ (on the latter, she was on the "Subway" episode; I forget which Friends episode and I've spent too much time at IMDb already!).
