Question about: TOW The Peeper

This was on the other night [for the millionth time], and I'm wondering if there was a mistake in the episode. I've been meaning to ask this for awhile - but never got around to it, lol.

Ok, Looking out Monica's Window, they saw the peeper - all seems normal there. But then Joey said that the peeper watched the guys at Chandler and Joey's apt too, but isn't that impossible? Thereapt was across from Monica and Rachel's and therefore there window faced everything on the otherside of the building and beyond, so how could the peeper see them?

and BTW, no matter what the Peeper [Sydney whatever] said on the phone ["you looked pretty in the green dress"] I would have been like "Thank you very much, now please stop watching us, flattery will get you know where"

But maybe that's just me.... ;p

Joey's living room window faces the same direction as Monica's living room window. The building across the alley from Monica and Joey's building (the one Ross rents now, i.e. Ugly Naked Guy's place) isn't far away--maybe 30 feet (my guess based on the poking thing they fashioned out of chopsticks.) So, the peeper's vantage point would have to be just right to see into both apartments if he is in that building. On the other hand, he could be looking through a telescope from a taller building further off.

Yes, there is a window in Monica's bedroom, and one in Rachel's old bedroom as well. However, in Monica's bedroom there is no window that faces the alley. So if someone were to peep at her in her bedroom it would be difficult to conceive how he might also be able to look into Joey's apartment.
