45 sec from the start, Rachel says: (snapping her fingers) "looks like someone is going to get her groove back tonight".. Did I miss something, or is that line from an episode that hasn't aired yet, cuz I don't remember her ever saying that?

It was during that time when Emily had told Ross not to speak to or be around Rachel. Rachel went to Ross's apartment to get him because "Stella is getting her groove back in 20 minutes" and Ross told Rachel that he was waiting on a call from Emily. Ross never told Rachel what Emily's request was and Rachel told Ross to "give Emily anything she wanted." So, when Emily called and Ross told Emily that he could do that "thing" she wanted, he hugged Rachel. ~~~ Kathy

Right -- Ross had the magic eight ball and he was going to use that to determine whether he should go along with Emily's request that he never see Rachel again. He shook the ball just as Rachel came in, and she asked what they were doing. Ross said they asked the magic eight ball if they should let Rachel pick the movie they were all going to. The magic eight ball said yes, and Rachel said "Yes! Looks like Stella is going to get her groove back tonight!" referring to the movie that was out then.

I've looked at ther transcript for this episode (TOW Phoebe hats PBS) and in this version, Ross, does shake the Magic eight ball, but Rachel doesn't enter:

Ross: Well, I don't know what else to do. I mean, I either keep my wife and lose one of my-my-my best friends or I keep my friend and get divorced the second time before I'm 30! So-so if anyone has-has a better suggestion, let's hear it! 'Cause I-I got nothing! All right, don't be shy, any suggestion will do. (There are none.) Okay then. Here we go. Magic 8 Ball, should I never see Rachel again? (He turns it over and reads the answer) Ask again later. Later is not good enough. (He shakes it up again and reads the answer.) Ask again later. yes - she mentions the movie in TOW Phoebe hates PBS, but it's a different sentence, and plus, she doesn't snap her fingers while saying it.... Is there maybe a different version of episode, which does show this scene..? I've googled and looked through alot of transcripts trying to find it ...

The scene in question takes place in Ross's apartment when Rachel comes by to pick him up. On the DVD's (aired version), the scene isn't cut. The scene in Monica's apartment when Rachel comes in and says something about going to see Stella get her groove back is cut in the syndicated episode. ~~~ Kathy
