When checking nbcmv.com I noticed that tonight's new episode (The One With The Cake) isn't listed. They have scheduled a rerun (Ross's Inappropriate Song). Also on www.nbc.com/Friends that's the case (except in the episode guide section, where TOW the Cake is still listed. On TVguide.com, TOW the Cake is also still listed.
Has it been postponed until November sweeps?
No new episode tonight.
NBC postponed tonight's lineup of new episodes because of the Game 7 between Boston and New York, which would have destroyed them in the ratings no matter what they put on. Friends, Scrubs, and Will & Grace will be re-runs and Whoopi will be in place of Coupling.

It is such a shame that the scripts have been kept nearly the same, but the whole mood of "Coupling" is lost. The queue pick-up is dreadful and there is no spark between the characters. Perhaps it's the way the show is shot, but everyone seems lifeless. The energy that the British version has is completely wasted.

I've already downloaded (Bittorrent) the Scrubs episode that was to be broadcast tonight. Seems I have it a week or so before it actually airs. :)
