I justed wanted to ask a couple of things I've always wondered about 1) How much does it cost to buy a sitcom like Friends by foreign tv stations? (and what about other ones, do they go by the same rate?) 2) When 2 actors in a sitcom have a phone conversation, do they actually talk through the phone to each other? (you know what I mean...)

if you mean when they show a "split screen" with one of the two characters on each side, then the answer is no. However if you mean when the actors are ACTUALLY having a phone conversation, at home or in private, then the answer is yes.....
I have another question...
When you hear the thoughts of the actors when there is just one of them on screen (ie. when Rachel is naked and Ross can see her) do they tape the voice-over first and then play it when they are acting the scene? I am just wondering how the actors can react in time exactly to what they are saying, plus you can never hear any sounds from the actual scene, just the voice over, so do they cut all sounds?
I know this isn't written very well but i am sure you will all know what i mean

I'm pretty sure that they tape the scene first then add the voice in later in an editing room.
