Wacky, zany sitcom plots

People here didn't seem to mind it, but I thought the Ross-Chandler "let's take some phony pictures of the wedding" plotline was tiresome. It struck me as a typical "wacky," "zany" sort of sitcom plot that one could find on, say, "Laverne and Shirley."

"Friends" should not have to resort to such silliness, and usually it doesn't. (Offhand, the only other example I can think of is the "two parties" thing, and that, at least, was redeemed by some funny dialogue.)

"Friends" creators, don't stoop to that level! Keep the situations believable . . . within reason. :-)

This is from the people who brought you Hand Twin, Phoebe's Mother Has Every Right To Be Somebody Else's Cat, Ross Gets Fired Over A Sandwich, 1001 Ways to Make Sure R&R *Almost* Get Back Together Ad Nauseum, And the Continuing Saga Of Monica Yelling At Chandler For No Particularly Good Reason. This show has great subplots and awful ones, and always, (except possibly for the first year) has. While the photos thing was tired, it was mostly just something I've seen too many times before in other sitcoms.

Okay, seriously. I like the show alot, but sheesh, think back before you all got obsessed with this show. It was meant to be a sarcastic, hilarious sitcom. Rarely do the plots follow anything that would happen in real life. I understand that many of these things are possible, but highly unlikely. Its a great show, but really people, its just a show.

I thought it was by far the dumbest plot of 802, I felt that they would have to realize how stupid it was, and that one of the other 5 had to have the cameras on them. I find it hard to believe grown men would think that idea would work.

No you aren't the only one. I found that to be very funny too. Infact, it was the Monica gift opening storyline that had me throwing stuff at the TV.
