Do they? Well, I know they have at least one new episode in March, and they most likely have to do that so we won't complain about the reruns *too* much. The schedule probably got a little messed up this year because of the extra episode on Thanksgiving, and the extra February sweeps one due to the hour-long episode. Episode 619 is airing April 13th, so we'll have a while to wait after the one episode in March. I'm not totally sure how this compares to the other seasons and I don't feel like looking it up, so if anyone wants to know, just cue Tennant. :) (This is cool, we never have to look up anything Friends fact-related ever again!)

That puzzled me too.
First of all, something I need to know - if there are *five* Thursdays in November, do you guys give thanks on the fourth one or the last?
Second of all - when I first saw the original US air dates for the series, it surprised me to find that the Thanksgiving episodes premiered on the *third* Thursday in November, which to me rather seems to miss the point.

Well I *am* pleased to help out, BOTOH I'm slightly annoyed, because a few weeks ago Samantha Stein posted that she was planning a trip to the States in March, and asked for advice on how to catch a new episode of Friends.
She was told about TV channels, but not when best to go. I posted a warning that she could quite easily be unlucky, and asked for someone who knew the March 2000 schedule to advise her, but none of you guys did.
Anyway, if someone *had* replied, this is how my posting about Friends in March might have been modified...

Yeah, that's because we didn't know the March 2000 schedule then. It's not that we were intentionally rude.
What makes you think that? There will be 24. Unless they've added an extra filming that I don't know about.

If something happens *once*, it isn't a pattern. They're not going to have 25 episodes just because they did in season three...

There wouldn't be a pattern, though why the only season that has *not* had a double episode should be the one to have 25 episodes, I don't know, you'd have thought it would be the other way around.

IIRC she is going for the skiing, but at one time she had some flexibility about which week she came, though I assume it's too late now - if Samantha reads this, perhaps she'll tell us if she hits or misses the 9th of March.

LOL, are you kidding? Fires are hilarious. Why, when my Aunt Gina's apartment erupted into flame, the family and I just couldn't get off the floor from laughing so hysterically. Of course it wouldn't have been nearly as funny if Gina's two children didn't die in the blaze.
