I saw on ET that for sweeps Jason Alexander (George, Seinfeld) is going to make a guest appearance in an episode. No details given, but I hope it's as George, trying to go out with Phoebe or something.

Not very likely. Didn't the whole main cast of characters end up in prison in the last Seinfeld?
So... Jerry Seinfeld appeared in an episode of Mad About You soon after the gang was sent to prison. And, as we all know, MAY is in the same universe as Seinfeld and is also the same universe with Friends. Not to mention, the prison sentence was only one year, so they would have been out for a while by this point.

~R.SmithThey broke a good samaritan law in Massachusets I think..some guy was getting robbed by a carjacker and instead of calling for help they laughed and made comments while they were taking a video. They got Jackie Chiles to represent them, but the prosecution wanted to make headlines by being the first in the nation to try a good samaritan case. They called in a ton of witnesses including the soup nazi, the guy that Jerry accidently got deported etc, to testify. They ended up being sentenced to a year in prison. The term would have ended in May of 99. But knowing the legal system they probably got released much sooner than that. :)
