Kudrow Willing to Make More 'Friends' Fri Aug 16, 1:25 AM ET

HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - If series star Lisa Kudrow is any indication, fans shouldn't count their "Friends" out just yet.

Kudrow, for one, may be willing to continue with the NBC sitcom past its upcoming ninth season, which as of now will likely be its last.

Interviewed for the season premiere of Oxygen's "Conversations From the Edge With Carrie Fisher" (which airs Aug. 18), Kudrow told the host that she didn't know if this would actually be the final season of "Friends."

"You know now I hope not," Kudrow said. "I'm actually comfortable saying I'm not. Which means it probably will be the last year.

"You know we all get along, and we still have fun and the writers are still working really hard and they do good stories," she said. "You look around and you see that a lot of reasons shows finish is (that) the ratings are really bad. We were No. 1 for the first time ever in our eighth season."

I'm not perfectly certain how you mean your question, but I take a stab at a couple of interpretations just for the fun of doing it.

1) The show's time slot is on Thursdays at 8:00 pm Eastern Time/ 7:00 pm
Central.    Of course, it's 8:00 pm in most markets in the Mountain and
Pacific, although some markets, especially in the Mountain Time Zone, go
with the earlier 7:00 pm.   This is often why they say, "consult your local
listings."

• I have no idea when it airs in other countries.

3) The show is set in "the present" time period, although some poetic license is exercised from time to time in order to span the summer hiatus, match holiday schedules and/or stretch a single episode over several hours, days or weeks.

Its all so confusing. Could this all be a cheap attempt to get viewers to watch hoping for one thing only to see something else??? Possibly I guess we will have to tune in to see.

I watched it (but forgot to tape it) thank goodness it replays on the 25th (I think) I can't believe some of the stuff she talked about. I am sure her grandma is turning in her grave.

It was a good interview to see the personal side of Lisa but I think I learned more than I wanted to know lol

There were parts that were deffinatly ment for the more mature audiance.
