General wondering : Rosse's father mention during his birthday party that when he turn 50 , he got his little speed (Porsche). However in another episode , Ross , after the rugby game says that last time he made a man cry was when he as a kid wash his father's Porsche with stones.
So how is it ? one of them lie

My bet is that people tend to keep their car-brands, when they`re happy with it. In TOW The Thanksgiving Flashbacks, Monica asks her father if she could borrow the keys to his Porsche, to get really fast back to the kitchen to pick up Chandler`s toe.
If Monica & Ross`father has had Porsche all his life, and he`s happy with that particular car (why wouldn`t he?:), then he`d replace the old car with a new one...of the same brand.
