Tonight's episode left me utterly speechless. Talk about stupid, unfunny and dull. Each week seems to be worse than the previous...at this rate, nobody will care when the season finally ends.
For what it's worth, though...."Will & Grace" has been slipping badly lately as well.
NBC's going to have a LOT of work to do to keep people tuning in, that's all I know.

I did, too. I kept thinking, well maybe this year there will be 2 Thanksgiving episodes, and next week's will be the 'real' one. <sigh> In our area (not sure if they do it all over) they replayed last year's Turkey Day episode after the new one....much funnier! Although I can't stand Rachel's sister (either of them, really), it was hugely more entertaining to watch than this year's cruddy effort.

Yes it was a really poor effort. It was a shadow of a shadow of episodes past. Sheesh. I'm glad Friends is ending now. The warmth they once had just isn't there anymore, and it is hardly ever funny.

agreed. there were a few funny moments tho: like when they were sticking things in joey's pants, when ross yelled at joey to put the hand down, and another good one i can't remember, i think it was a phoebe line. but overall, average, dull episode. They can do MUCH better.
i think one of the worst things about the last season is that they are telling lies all the time. i've always liked their honest and close friendships, but it's gone now...

Gosh - I don't consider myself to be naive or anything - maybe I just had an open mind... (Especially with all the goofy eps this season so far!) But as this week ended I had that old feel good feeling and realized how much I had been laughing out loud! S

R * * * The '"floating heads" just really got to me. Well maybe that was really the only funny part but it was so funny - like the childish things they used to do to each other that it made up for the baby beauty contest (who has them on Thanksgiving?!? and why couldn't we have seen footage of that?!?) and the big game (nothing funny there). The hall scene was good, knowing Mon was going to be so angry etc. - Then the Grand Finale - soooo sweet! I cried. And goofy Ross didn't show up which made things even better. He was his "normal" self and that makes him more appealing to Rachel.

Yup, saw the Oprah episode. And MP and CCA both liked the proposal the best, IIRC. LK's favorite moment was doing "Smelly Cat" with Chrissie Hynde, while MLB's was offstage (huddles before taping).
