hey, what did you guys think of ross, when he was playing the keyboard and those sound effects.
i thought it was funny how phobe saw him as a threat to her wailing with the guitar.
has anyone done that before, and where would you get one of those keyboards.

There are sampling instruments available ranging from a few hundred dollars (used) up to several thousand (new, pro-quality).

It's likely that during his theatre training, David learned how to play the keyboard to some sort of standard - a lot of performing arts degrees have compulsary modules which are related to the degree being taken in some way, but are not actually what the person is focusing on (eg. music in a theatre degree). I can ask one of my drama teachers on the specifics, because both of them have degrees in performing arts, but I would think I'm not too far off the mark.

Umm, am I wrong in thinking that he didn't have to have any keyboard skills whatsoever to play those "songs"? We do have a few of those kinds of keyboards since my mom's a piano teacher, and the stuff he played sounded like he hit the play button on the keyboard, it played the background, and he just had to press keys with tape on them for the sound effects.

Ooooh, thinking of the wrong thing here - I was thinking of TOW The Prom Video, where he *was* actually playing the keyboard. But in TOW Chandler Crosses The Line, yeah, he probably just had to hit play and press the keys in a random fashion. :)

Not to say that what he did and how he did it weren't amusing -- might be one of the funnier lines in the whole show.
Ew, Beethoven, he's so overrated. ;) Hehe, I think I'm just sick of playing his songs.
Oh yeah, definitely! I loved his supposed musical abilities he was so proud of. :)
