I think it's best we adopt a no reply attitude to the current spate of trolling & personal attacks on one of our most revered posters.
I personally find it offensive that someone would go out of their way to target a single person & believe a show of solidarity in silence would be the best approach. I would put it on a par with turning your back to a parade.
Tennant, We love you for what you do, don't give it up or let them get to you.

Seriously, Tennant has been nothing but courteous and helpful in every post I've seen by him. He has my support and overseas friendship, for what that's worth. Ignore the people who feel compelled to be destructive and let's keep the good threads going.

We would all be a lot better off if everyone tried their best to be polite, to remember that there are real people at the other end of the line, and to attempt to realise that most apparent slights are due to a misunderstanding that wouldn't happen if we were talking face-to-face.
However, there are some trolls out there whose deliberate intention is to cause trouble, and there you are quite right that the best thing to do is not to reply to them, (or maybe type a vituperative reply then delete it).
Just beware that some trolls are less obvious than others. They start out by being nice, to gently suck you in, then turn on you, whilst carefully remaining pleasant to everyone else in the group... :(
Thankyou Zeb, your kind words are most appreciated. Don't worry, the trolls couldn't keep me out of ATF in the run-up to the finale, and they won't now.
It's just too much fun chatting to all you nice people on ATF to give that up, even though I've only been here since the New Year. I just wish that I'd come earlier, especially for the chance to talk with MNL and Lee Green.

Yeah but it isn't or wasn't just your post, that was actually minor compared to some of the other stuff people have been saying. If you have a problem with someone, I think it's kind of cowardly to insult them in public for no reason, if you have something to say to someone, why not just email them, unless you purposely intend to embarrass someone?
