You need a TV card, and an MPEG encoder. The process can take a very long time, though, which is why I think there's usually a delay of a couple of days between the episode airing and it appearing on the web.

56k isn't ideal for uploading, no - I believe it's slower to upload than it is to download, or the other way around. I only know UK prices, but my TV card cost �80 and my MPEG encoder card about the same. Although I was referring to MPEG encoder software, which if you're unlucky can cost �200. You also need a *very* high spec computer (we're basically talking top of the line). But even then, you basically need to leave it running overnight with *nothing* else running for it to work. It's certainly not a job for beginners, put it like that, which is why when I get 613 I'm capping it with a friend's aid and hopefully over at his house. I wouldn't recommend it unless you know what you're doing.

It has something to do with WinTV... I don't know, really. I just download the episodes. That's the only way to get to see them that early for us Europeans! :)
