It'S official... We will have a 7th season...

Hi people,

It's official, we will have a 7th season of friends. NBC doesn't want to let go the show. They can't afford loosing two big shows (Seinfeld and Friends) in such a short period of time. There is no other project to replace Friends, and they are still looking to find a good show to "replace" Seindfeld. I heard they were willing to pay up to each member of the cast 600k by episode to keep it running...

I work in a division of NBC, I'm not suppose to tell you that. And now don't worry, you will have your show next year...

In politics, this is called a trial balloon. I *hate* trial balloons. If you are not supposed to be telling us this, then why are you doing it anyway?

But if it's going to be a seventh season that is below par.....who wants it.

If they're willing to start working with these characters (and most of this can be done subtley and without calling attention to it) so they actually start acting their age........and the writing is a bit more in touch with reality like it was in its first season....then I'm all for it. Don't give me another year of are Ross and Rachel getting together. Or Joey just meandering around.

A below par season is better than no season at all...

I don't know about that! I want a seventh season, too, but only if it's above par. I don't want to remember the show as simply hanging around for the end.

I agree. I don't want Friends to end without a proper wrap up, and if a below par season means I get to see a proper ending, then so be it.

Not only that, but it's really out of NBC's hands...the people you have to watch out for are the 6 cast members and Warner Brothers (who is the production company). The news will be EVERYWHERE!...Yahoo!, E! online, Entertainment Tonight online, not to mention on both NBC's and WB's websites.
