taping question

was there a taping yesterday ? or is it next week ??

Part one of the season finale will be filmed Friday, April 7th.

. . . Got in late...around 8:30 pm.-They'd been taping since 2:30 p.m. and 1st audience was slow to trickle out. Don't know the circumstances that led up to it...but...SPOILER . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Ross DID break up with Elizabeth, and boy is he all wet. Also, at end of episode, Richard goes into the kitchen where Monica is chef and tells her it was great to see her again "the other day"*** and wanted to tell her that he still loves her. *** Only guessing here, but in one scene I did see, at Central Perk, Chandler acts like marriage is the furthest thing from his mind, and asks Monica "who'd want to ever get married", so I GUESS he saw Mon INNOCENTLY kiss Richard in a previous scene and read it all wrong, and with the above mentioned episode ending scene, my guess is that on the May 25th finale Chandler WILL propose to Monica. I'm going next week and will let ya know if it happens, IF you want to know.

Sounds like a pretty logical way to go with the Richard thing. Misunderstandings that will create problems. Don't be surprised if Chandler doesn't even get the opportunity to propose because of drawing the wrong conclusions. Monica never knowing that he planned to propose could lead to an emotional reunion if they were to break up over this.

Why? We have seen nothing at all that suggests Rachel is even remotely ready to go back to Ross. She may still be possessive of him, but she doesn't seem to actually want to date him. Why would the fact that Ross said goodbye to Elizabeth really change Rachel's mind at all?

Something where they get caught in the moment and then both realize their feelings is how I think it will.

As for R&R, the one idea I have is them sitting around talking. Maybe about C&M's possible engagement. Then they both discuss how terrible they've been with relationships and one of them mentions how the last good relationship they had was when they were together. That leads to an awkward moment, but eventually one thing leads to another and we have a kiss to end their portion of the season.

Who knows though.

We *do* think along the same lines, because this is pretty much the same idea I had in mind. Only problem is, as soon as they began talking, people would expect it. :(

Also, everyone, remember this: a lot of the juicy episodes that have dealt w/r&r and their "relationship" haven't appeared until the finale! There's still hope. Just look at the past. Something about their relationship is dealt w/ and then dropped until the finale. So, we still have a lot of possibilites w/them here. And you never know, that whole "sink" episode (keeping in mind that the kissy part of the fake spoiler could have been correct) could have been put off till the end b/c of all the good r&r possibilities. The writers might have wanted to wait to put that up until last so they could end w/another "relationship question" of r&r.

Jay, I agree with you that it would most likely happen when no one is expecting it. But let's keep in mind that the writers (in my opinion) haven't always done what's intelligent. Chances are it's going to get dddddddrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaawwwwwwwnn oooooouuuuuutttttt =(drawn out) for as long as the writers can. -I'm not really expressing my thoughts, clearly. I'm sorry if i'm not making myself clear. I can't think of how to say it any other way.

That's what I thought, but I asked because I was unsure. And if you look, I did in fact *say* "do you mean that he's upset?". I'm familiar with most US colloquialisms (wow, the spellcheck's not throwing that one out :)), but not that one.
