Nick's CRAZY idea!!

O.K here it is, How about a Friends movie to finish off the show? They could do series 7, leave the usual cliff-hanger then bring out a feature length movie when series 8 would start. Kauffman & Crane could write it, It would be able to go into a bit more depth than the usual 25mins, tie up all the loose ends and have a great story to finish the show on. They could film it in the "closed season" when all the cast usually make films anyway, Hype the crap out of it, put it in Cinemas and give the cast their$$$$$$$$'s. I appreciate that the production would have to be different, no audience atmosphere, and a few more locations, but I think that the team they have with the show would be able to do a great job.

Actually, this idea did come up on this newsgroup before, and the input we got out of Hollywood is that they weren't even close to being interested. Larissa knows some things. Listen to her.

Well, maybe if they were offered enough $$ they would. And it might make some money, The X-files movie did pretty well and Friends has quite a bit more fans then XF does I think (based on ratings). I do think though that X-files may have a few more fanatical types, and Friends probably has more causual viewers. I would be intrerested enough if they ever decided to go this way. But I think it would work a lot better as a tv movie or miniseries.
